GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Entry level sales position with line of progression to Account Executive or Account Manager. Responsible for providing internal and external customers with outstanding service in the fulfillment of inquiries, order placement assistance, quote preparation, and design of creative bid packages. Learn and partner with key departments and stakeholders to fully develop understanding of technology, processes, products, and service.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate with Account Managers and Account Executives to achieve sales objectives, determining new business opportunities with potential customers, and support existing customer accounts.
  • Maintain accurate and complete customer account information.
  • Assist in determining pricing quotes for customers.
  • Resolve customer issues/concerns in a timely manner. 
  • Provide daily support as needed to Account Executives.
  • Manage change requests for customer accounts.
  • Familiarize yourself with all current accounts and work processes. Partner with key departments as needed.
  • Work with the team to develop proposals that speak to the client's needs, concerns and objectives.
  • Conduct outreach to leads generated by the marketing department.
  • Manage leads and schedule qualified product demonstrations and/or face-to-face meetings for account executives to reach performance-based goals.
  • Assist with basic product specifications.
  • Create small scale layouts using basic design software applications
  • Communicate product installation and service resource needs with project managers
  • Participate in project team meetings including some on-site client meetings
  • Create and maintain project files

KEY SELECTION AND SUCCESS FACTORS

 

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in sales, customer service, design, or project management

 

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred

 

OTHER/PREFERRED:

  • Must be highly organized and self-motivated
  • Must be able to work independently and balance competing priorities
  • Solid understanding of business concepts and the ability to quickly learn software & technology tools.
  • Experience in design, sales, architecture or building.
  • Confidence presenting information business decision makers.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A self-starter with the ability to think critically, multi-task, and keep up in a fast-paced environment.
  • A motivated, results oriented, team player.
  • A competitive drive with a tenacious attitude.
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations
