Ensure accurate and timely installation of furniture in compliance with manufacturer's specifications, meeting customer needs, and according to management directives.



  • Take direction from Lead Installer and Field Supervisor for loading, transport, unloading, staging, unpacking, assembly and movement of furniture
  • Review job details with supervisor to ensure a clear understanding of project goals and objectives
  • Responsible for all company property assigned to individual
  • Actively participate in Tool Box meeting to understand daily assignments
  • Communicate all discrepancies or obstacles to supervisor that will restrict productivity on the job site
  • Attend and participate in monthly safety meetings; adhere to all safety and installation policies and procedures
  • Ensure written paperwork is complete and accurate
  • Load necessary equipment, materials and product onto truck; distributing weight evenly, forming compact load, and utilizing space
  • Measure, square, align, and adjust structural components to ensure furniture is installed per specifications
  • Discuss errors in diagrams or written instructions with supervisor to clarify assembly problems
  • Ensure customer concerns are resolved quickly and effectively
  • Provide fine-tuning of furniture upon completion of installation, i.e. cleaning, wiping down and leveling

  • At least 1 year work experience
  • Office furniture experience preferred




  • High School Degree or equivalent work experience and/or training




  • Complete and maintain customer site specific badge requirements
  • Mechanical ability, knowledge of hand/power tools, good organizational and communication skills
  • Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, blue prints, floor plans and installation drawings.
  • Able to write simple correspondence on delivery tickets
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools, such as power drill, tape measure, etc.
  • Able to learn and pass safety driver training program
  • Valid Texas Driver's License
  • Able to travel to customer and other job sites
  • Able to work overtime as required with little or no notice
