About the Role:

McCoy-Rockford is looking for a State and Government Account Executive to grow and support our successful public sector business. In this position you will work in a creative and fast-paced environment at the intersection of the physical and digital workplace.

The State and Government Account Executive continuously develops strategic relationships, negotiates and closes sales with various public agencies, and provides innovative solutions that create a great place for them to do their work.

About You:

We are looking for a tech-savvy, self-motivated, results-driven individual who enjoys working within a team environment. The ideal candidate enjoys a fast-paced environment, has a go-getter sales attitude and an ability to learn to utilize design tools.

As an experienced sales person, you understand that communication requires exceptional listening skills and exhibiting this characteristic is a high priority. You are entrepreneurial minded and enjoy working on your own. Your inquisitive nature means you love engaging with new people daily, using these interactions to uncover new leads and build your pipeline.

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of successful outside sales experience.
  • Working knowledge and comprehension of purchasing contracts
  • College degree or equivalent work experience required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Track record of success working in the public sector market preferred
  • State and local government relationships preferred

Compensation & Benefits:

This position pays a base salary with unlimited commission potential that can be lucrative compared to sales positions in other industries. Additional manufacturer bonuses and spiffs apply.
